We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role is focused on expanding our presence in regional and national grocery chains.

Position Summary: Distribution Sales Representative

The Distribution Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of our frozen meal products within assigned regional and national grocery chains. This role requires a strong understanding of the grocery retail environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with regional and national grocery chains.

    • Manage existing accounts, ensuring optimal product placement, promotional support, and growth.

  • Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery chain buyers, category managers, and other key stakeholders.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and issues within the assigned territory.

  • Product Knowledge:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio, including key features, benefits, and competitive positioning.

    • Educate clients on the advantages of our frozen meal products and provide relevant product training as needed.

  • Market Analysis and Reporting:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.

    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and account status.

  • Promotional Activities:

    • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and other sales-driving activities.

    • Ensure all promotional activities are aligned with brand guidelines and company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

    • Experience working with grocery chains, particularly in frozen foods, is highly desirable.

  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

    • Valid driver’s license.
